The Grace wedding gown was inspired from the delicate floral lace. I wanted to show off the beauty of the lace and give this dress an etherial quality by adding the sheer chiffon overlay. The way this dress moves is exquisite! A tiny bit of wind or movement and the lightweight delicate chiffon takes flight to reveal the lace skirt underneath.
I added some beaded lace appliqués to the empire waistline to eventuate the shape to give a slimming effect and the perfect silhouette. The bodice is made from the lace and has a sheer hand pleated overlay on both the front and back of the gown.
The dress contains a secret support bodice with waist stays which is perfect for supporting the weight of the strapless gown all day long. This support bodice is fully boned and made from a soft satin with padded cups. It has its own hook and eye closure at the side seam.
The chiffon skirt has four panels which make up a full circle skirt. The four separate panels give the dress the beautiful movement.
